Hi Scotty,
Big fan and long time follower of your channel. I have a 99 EE110 corolla, 2E engine. A mechanic told me that the ventilation hose from the engine that connects back to carburetor is not needed and just disconnected the little hose. I just took his word for it. But I did look it up and found that it is indeed not needed but of course bad for the environment. But now, the hose is totally gone, and I noticed that the vapor venting is quite strong and there seems to be a lot of oil stain around and even under the hood directly above where the hose is supposed to be connected. What is your take on this?
Thank you. Love your new shorts channel as well.

Why you guys put a filter on the thing if you want it to filter it so you don't get things splashing all over the place but yeah those old carbureted things mostly it's anti pollution stuff but if you want to put it back to stock by law the Toyota dealer at a parts store at a Toyota parts department has to give you a schematic of what goes where because that's anti pollution and they can't refuse to give that information out
