1999 civic alignment

I have a 1999 civic ex coupe with 175k miles. Runs perfect. Just got new tires and got an alignment. I backed up and hit a curb lightly and now my steering wheel is very slightly not straight. The car goes straight but the wheel is off centered. Should I get it realignment or just drive it and live with it??

Schedule an alignment. If there is a local Firestone close by and you intend on keeping the car, get the lifetime package or get it anywhere that will provide said deal.

You could gradually fix it yourself if you know alignment and work on so frequently, however as someone who does so, I advise against it.

Most places will charge less than $100 to realign the vehicle, which requires straightening the wheel and provides at least a 6 month warranty to realign so..do it please.

Did you hit the curb with the front tyres?

I’d personally get it looked at, if you’re the type of owner who only gets an alignment when they buy new tyres.

If, however, you get an alignment at fixed intervals (age/miles), I’d live with it but keep a hawk eye out for uneven tyre tread wear.

I would go ahead and get it looked at. It is an inexpensive thing to do and could save you from having to purchase tires, which are expensive.
