Try to make this short, 2007 jeep g.c. 5.7. replacing radiator my "helper" accidentally loosened the AC lines but tighten them back. Fast forward to summer and ac compressor would not come on..found it low on freon... recharged and found lines were actually still loose. After tightening them and jumping the compressor air blew very cold. But only when jumped. Replaced relay pressure switch ( had p0533) code... And pressure on low side is at 40psi on 85° day...why is it working and cooling when jumped but not otherwise? This is driving me crazy.
Well you obviously have some type of electrical problem realize ultimately that AC system is run by computers it's a very complex system. You could try just the air conditioning relay for the compressor clutch and look for loose or corroded wires but if not that you're going to have to pay an expert who knows Jeep AC systems they are like I said extremely complex and they can break in many ways
