Hey Scotty,
I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero 2.8 TD Intercooler A/T 4x2.
When i was driving it about 2 months ago, the transmission fluid overheated (Didn't check it since i got it from my dad). So it started to run bad and not shift properly. So i had the fluid replaced, it runs better now and seems to shift better too, but the A/T light on the dash is still blinking. What could be the problem? Faulty temp sensor? ECU needs reset?
thanks!
Well those are kind of touchy make sure a mechanic resets at first but if it does come back then could be a sensor could be wiring could even be internal problems in the transmission. If you reset it and it comes back but runs okay I'd live with it on that old thing Mitsubishi's get old you should expect to live with non perfection
