Hey Scotty, I was looking for med size sedan and I wanted to get the 2020 Honda Accord 2.0T because of the power and quality it offers, but then i found out that the Mazda 6 2020 comes with a turbo option. I don't know if the turbo charged Mazda is reliable or not, or should i go for the non turbo engine they offer?

Test them out. The Accord also has a Turbo. The Mazda I heard was more fun to drive especially on winding roads. Your pick after you test it. Neither are new enough maybe the Honda will outlast it maybe the Mazda will. We all know the oil dellusion issues of the Honda turbo engines a few years back and the Mazda turbo issues in the huge cx-9. Time will tell but both are good cars.

Nothing is always, but in general a naturally aspirated engine will be more reliable than a turbocharged engine. Between something as simple as turbo bearings wearing out to the added engine stress, if reliability is a primary factor NA will generally be better.

That does not mean that modern turbocharged engines cannot be reliable and personally with either of these cars I would opt for the turbo as I want some fun in my car!

Don't forget about the Camry in category as well, although it will be more pedestrian than either the Accord or 6.
