I did the handshake to find out why my a.t oil temp light was always on. light flashed two long and three quick flashes which I'm guessing is #23. That is engine speed signal. No signal input above 10km/h what does that mean ? this is for a 1998 subaru forester.

Well try a new speed sensor on a transmission and pray it's not a computer module failure because that will do the same thing as well wiring failure
