1990 Toyota Corolla poor idling

I have a Toyota Corolla XL from year 1990, carbureted engine, with just about 300 000Km. My question is when I open the radiator cap while car is idling it pushes coolant out from the radiator once i step on a gas pedal, does it mean that my head gasket is blown?  Other than that car is running solid and i use it every day, except that it does not idle correctly and my spark plug cables are bad.

Pushing coolant out IS a bad sign. Does coolant seem to be going into the cylinders (white smoke on startup, have to keep filling up the coolant)? Scotty recommends Bars Leaks - he did a video on using it just a day or two ago, on a car with a lot of miles as a preventative measure.

No Car does not lose coolant, or burn it, there is no white smoke on startup i dint not refill it for months it`s on the same level and it`s full even now. I had to add some coolant cause it pushed out a bit when i had radiator open and pressed a gas pedal, if the car had those symptoms i would know that i have bad head gasket. However i am not sure that is normal so i have to ask

Anyone got a link to the video mentioned above for Bars Leaks?
