mr kilmer ,since my wife dont let me buy the generator
i bought a inverter 1000w watt hook up to my car if my place out of power , i use for couple days for my refrigerator (about300watt) will it hurt alternator? in summer iam in NJ , super fan

Well it’s either a new alternator or a new wife..
I know which one I’d choose..

300W isn't that much. It's like having all the lights and wipers on.
