Dodge Neon SXT 2003 2.0 miles 100780 automatic
In my car, my oil light comes on at idle then starting to drive it goes off. I do not have an oil gauge in it to say my oil pressure is low just the light. It does not blink when the oil light is on. I change the sensor on 7/8/2021, it's now 7/22/2023. I checked to oil stick it's full, the car does not run with a funny noise, and it drives normally. Can the previous sensor I changed on 7/8/2021 go bad again? The engine has never come on with a code only the oil light. I own the car and it was bought new 7/2003.

Verify engine oil pressure with a mechanical gauge.
