About using oil extractors for oil changes even when changing oil often?

Hi Scotty, really love your channel! Hey, I haven't ever seen you talk about whether to use an oil extractor(auto or manual) to expedite an oil change. Especially now that cars have rock shields under the pan. If your changing your oil every 3000-5000 miles. Would an extractor be good to use? I haven't changed my own oil in a while, but just don't trust the local Toyota or Subaru dealers here in Stamford CT. We have both 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium and 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. Would love to here your opinion. Thanks!, Myles

it's better to drain out the crud that collects in the bottom of the pan.

Thanks, makes perfect sense.

Ordered ValvoMax drains plugs for Crosstrek and 4Runner.

FYI ValvoMax makes a drain valve for the Crosstrek, but does not sell it on Amazon, like the 4Runner.

Got the idea for ValvoMax from Scotty's vids'

Thanks!
