Hi Scotty,
Wife's car 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, 121K miles, automatic. I replaced the master cylinder after bench bleeding, abs pump (both new from Ford) and the control module (used from the junkyard, couldn't get a new one). Trying to bleed the pump correctly. I've bled the brakes until I'm blue in the face. I have a new xtool A30 Pro scanner. My question is what is the correct way to bleed the pump? No matter what, I still get a soft pedal. Thank you for your help.
Ken.
Well you need a quality scan tool to do that and it gives all the directions for example my think tool when I use it it has probably 40 steps tells you exactly what to do what the push what the open and what to close. If your scan tool doesn't do that just pay a mechanic
