Scotty,my 2006 Ford Escape abs light stays on and 4wd light flashes. Obviously the abs and 4wd don't work but there are no codes. Any ideas what's up?

Those wouldn't be OBD2 codes, you need a dealer-level scan tool to see communicate with the ABS and 4WD systems to see what's going on. A common issue would be a bad wheel sensor but there could be any number of causes.
