I have a 2007 Lincoln Town car. When the car is parked the air conditioner will blow cold, but in traveling it will not. I'm stumped. The mechanic said the whole system has to be replace and it will cost $4,000. Thank you for all your help and videos.

Talk about the parts cannon! Take it to another mechanic for a proper diagnosis.
