- I have a 2013 Cheverly Silverado k1500 LT, 8 cylinder ,214332 mileage , Wednesday 24, while I took break I sat in truck, when I started the truck, the ac/heat digital display did not show, it was off. I press power, and nothing happened. I turned off truck and restarted a couple times and still the same. It scared me. The fans wasn't running. I had to go back to work. In a couple hours later, on my lunch break, when I started my truck , the ac/heat digital display was on and working and the fans was also working. I checked coolant, it was fine. Do you know why it did this? Is it something to worry about? To be honest, I hate Cheverly, but I bought this used and was cheapest truck I could find. Thank you.

For my experience in those crackers it's almost always the control unit in the dash going bad I've changed out hundreds of them and then you have to reprogram the stupid things too
