Dear Scotty,
Elantra 2015 130k. I noticed the ac is blowing hot air. I tried to charge refrigerant with dye to see where the leak is, but it not taking any. What's the problem?
Thanks for the reply. I found that the can was the problem, I use an adapter to press freon to the yellow line of the gauges set. The can itself comes with a shredder valve but it needs an adapter to make it work. Silly problem 😅.
Well theoretically it can be a whole bunch of things. But start with the basics. When you turn on the AC. Does the compressor start to spin on the front? If it doesn't, it won't take anything until it spins. In which case you can often just hotwire it with positive electricity to the power line and make it spin while you add the leak die. And of course you got to make sure your leak die system works and presses the valve down on the low pressure port because of a dozen press the valve down it won't add any into the system
