Hello. Always watching the videos love them thank you for giving advice and confidence to amateur folk.
Onto my question. 2011 Acadia Denali. Original owner. Coming up on 127,000 miles. I did replace the starter last week and I didn't notice a sound like a clock hand coming around until the wife mentioned it tonight. It is on the right side (while looking at the engine from the front) so opposite side of the timing chain. With the cover off to ensure there isn't sound masking, it is really coming from that right side. Now it isn't loud at all, you have to have the hood open to really hear it. I have no misfires, no check engine lights, the drive belt is newer (Maybe 2000 miles on it), Plugs are newer (1000 miles on them), starter brand new. It isn't a rattle like a loose bolt and it sounds like it is going in a circle. It isn't a constant clank like a lifter/rod type either. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks Novi.
Well make a video place it on YouTube and then put the URL link here and I will listen. Mommy let's lift the noise but first thing you could do is take the serpentine fan belts office the noise goes away you'll know it's something that drives
