I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra 5.7 97000 miles Automatic I just traded for it to pull a small RV.
The accelerator pedal is so touchy I have to be very careful or I will spin the tires.
I bought a replacement pedal for it and it helped a little but I wish I could make it less responsive.
Any Ideas. Thanks Luke Warren
Do you think some kind of device like a pedal commander could help?
I would not use those things . They mess with vehicles data systems.
Thank for the advice.
Well, make sure you have a Toyota OEM replacement accelerator pedal assembly. Those cheap Chinese aftermarket ones often do not work right, but if it is a Toyota one really that's just how those things are. Generally people get used to it though. But if you can't you might add a little bit extra spring to it. It is a pedal assembly. You could figure out a way of adding an extra spring for more attention
