My acura mdx 2015 is ticking and vibrating. I can feel it in the seat, wheel, pedals, and side console where I rest my arm. It actually gives me headaches on long drives. I've taken it to Mr tire where they replaced a joint in the front axle, rotated and aligned the tires. Another previous mechanic stated the engine mount is broken. This same mechanic was supposed to have replaced the engine mounts 8 months ago and I'm beginning to question. His work. I don't know what's wrong with it. Please help. The car has 86k miles.
Well, take it to a reputed mechanic & get a thorough diagnosis. Hard to believe a 6yr old Acura needs new engine/transmission mounts unless you live in an area with horrible roads, or if the car was wrecked earlier.
It could also be front end suspension damage. You need to find the fault first, before you start changing any more parts.
Are your tyres wearing evenly?
