Hey Scotty, I was wondering if you can give me your opinion on my plan to buy a 2016 or up ilx with the 8 speed dual clutch transmission as a daily driver and a TL type s specifically 2007-2008 as a weekend toy as I am towards performance, handling, and speed thanks.

They should be good cars if taken care of, but keep in mind that these are luxury cars and eventually things break and you need to pay a lot more than a Honda to fix them.

I had a 2003 CL Type S 6-speed MT bought new and traded it last year with 165,000 miles. Overall it was a good car, no major issues but did need a new clutch at the time i git rid of it.
