Hey Scotty, I have a 2003 corolla 1.6 manual with 141,000 miles.
I want to add a second remote to unlock and lock the car.
I've seen the procedure for Toyotas (With the key and door), but it didn't work. The locks would not cycle.
I'm pretty sure the working remote I have is aftermarket, though I bought the car (used) with it installed.
The second remote is identical to the first.
Here is a picture of the fob.

Try having a locksmith program it.

My local locksmith can make a new one ,programmed, for $55

i have read that some fobs purchased on amazon wont program
the last one that i had made was a chain called "Batteries and Bulbs", cost about $50
The remote was not from there, and the car itself won't enter programming mode.
