adding powered side mirrors

My dodge caravan 2005 doesn't seem to have an inside switch to adjust the angle of the side mirrors. I've tried pushing one of the mirrors to adjust the angle but it won't move. Maybe I'm just not pushing it hard enough or something but it's acting like it's a powered mirror. I'd like a powered mirror anyway. Can you just install one or does it have to be powered originally? Or, maybe I just can't find the switch. Is it in a weird place?

If you have them the switch should be on the dashboard, left side next to the headlight switch.  If it doesn't work, check the fuse.  If you don't have it, adjust the mirrors by manipulating the glass portion, not the housing.  Adding electric mirrors is a fairly complicated mechanical and electrical job best left to a pro.

Consult your owner's manual for switch location and fuse location if you have this feature.

9/10 it’ll be in the owner’s manual..

This switch is located on the left side of your vehicle’s dash (near the steering wheel/headlight switch).
