I have found a 2016 mint-looking, loaded F-150 Lariat with the 5.0L engine. Checking the carfax, it has had a minor collision totaling about 4000 in damage. It's a beautiful truck. The problem is they are asking 30k for the truck and it has 280 000 kilometers on it!!! The truck market is crazy right now. They don't last longer than a few days on the lot (especially the 5.0 F-150). Do I go for it?
No. Run away.

280,000 km is 174,000 miles and they want $30,000 for a 5 year old vehicle?!!! Plus it has some damage. That’s a definite walk away!
Obviously, from what you say, you are more impressed with how something looks than how it works. If you want a lawn trinket, buy it. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time in the service department waiting room.
$30k with that kind of mileage? Hell no
If you just want the leather seats from the Lariat, buy a lower mileage XL/XLT and have it done aftermarket and save yourself $8k or so and get something more reliable at the same time
Thanks for the responses. I was only considering it as it is only a 5-year-old truck which says to me that the mileage is mostly highway which isn't as hard on the engine (so I'm told). It's a hard pass.
