Hey Scotty, some guy wants to sell me his 2005 Honda Civic(manual) for 800 dollars. Car has 170,000 miles and it needs a repair, he ran over some steel on a road where trucks drive and damaged his radiator, fans and crossmember. Is it worth repairing? Thank you from New Jersey

why isn't he repairing it?
Insurance would cover road debris, so his story is suspect.

I'd take it to shop have it checked out. Is he a car flipper? Dealer? Avoid both! It's worth 1500.00 done top

seems sus that he did not fix it and his story as well...
Get some history
I would pass on it if no history or mechanic can not check it out
