Saw a private seller selling a 2005 Rav4 6 speed manual transmission at 97k miles for $6k.
It meets most of my needs: 6 speed manual transmission, sub-compact suv/crossover, low budget…
i’ve never bought a used car, never bought a manual transmission (I drive my partner’s honda fit manul often)
Thoughts? Things to look out for?

Great vehicle. But negotiate on the price and make sure it doesn't burn oil as it does have the infamous 2AZ-FE engine.

Those are early 2.4 engine that doesn't consume oil and paired to a manual it can last forever but the price is a lot for an 18 year old vehicle, try to get it lowered.
