Hi, I've got a lexus Gs350 2016 rwd with 23k miles.
Recently did oil chnage and the delearship said it due by age and miles for rear differential fluid chnage and brake fluid change.
I wanted to find out the schedule by miles and years for rear differential fluid change, brake fluid change, transmission fluid change, I do my oil change every 4500 - 5000 miles with fully synthetic oil according to scotty's recommendation. Haven't heard him talk alot of the others hence my post.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
No. Stop getting your service done at the dealership. Find a good independent mechanic.
A good mechanic should let you know what you car needs and when.
I've never owned a Lexus, and I'm not familiar with all the equipment in it, so I'm unable to give you an exhaustive list of everything your particular car needs.
General rule of thumb:
Axles (differential) and transmission: every 60,000 miles
brake fluid: 10 years or 150,000 miles
coolant: 5 years or 150,000 miles
Thank you sir
Thank you sir, I'll try to.
Could you please advise on the recommended interval for the fluid changes. So I set reminders on my phone and on the car.
Thank you
