Is there a minivan or suv type of vehicle that you can recommend that runs roughly 3-5k that would be dependable? I've taken your advice in the past with Prius and had good luck, but we need something larger to transport the grandkids. Looking to purchase in the next few months so hoping you see this and can recommend a year/make/model that is often reliable.

Well the Toyotas and Hondas are well made. But good luck finding a really good one in that price range because everybody's looking for them and that's a very low price. You never know you might get lucky. Somebody gets thrown in jail or an old person dies and you find something at an estate sale
