Hey Scotty what do you think about a 2017 Ford fiesta SE without EcoBoost. It only has 9,000 miles on it. They are asking $9,900 but I was going to offer a bit less. What do you think I should offer and do you think it is reliable car?
If it is equipped with Ford's "PowerShift" automated dual-clutch transmission you'll be buying into a world of hurt. That transmission had an inherently defective design, which Ford knew, but they sold it anyway. This resulted in a huge class-action lawsuit against the company. (If this Fiesta has a manual transmission it could be OK.)
As far as price, there is no way we can know what the market is where you live. Search for comparables in your area or go to Kelley Blue Book to get an idea.
It is imperative that you get a good mechanic to give any used car you are considering a thorough examination before purchase.
