I hope you saw the message. After changing valve cover gaskets my infinity qx56 2008 230000 miles,is leaking oil visibly on ground wasnt prior and now it feels as though its slipping gears the shop claims its not their doing but they had it they changed my valve cover gaskets and it was jot doing this prior only white smoke out the tail pipe which it still does amd the oil was visible on the underside but not on ground so its worse than i took ot to them. What could it be ?
Well one it's sloppy work I would go to another mechanic and see what they say and make the other guy pay for all the work that needs to be done for the oil leak because obviously they screwed up the job. It's pretty much a pain in the ass job on that engine all the crap you have to take off to do the valve covers and they obviously screwed the job up. I would no longer trust them for anything I would get a second opinion and perhaps hire a lawyer if it's bad
