Hello, I am supposed to go pick a vehicle tomorrow but was wondering if I should get the 2017 Honda Accord ex-l 2.4L 4-Cylinder Gas Engine or the 2020 Toyota Camry SE both under 60 k thousand miles
Have the one you like better, thoroughly inspected by a professional mechanic, before purchase.
Both are good reliable cars so it comes down to test driving and seeing which one you like better. But it will be very helpful to know the price for each. The reason is in the current market there are many cases which buying new is a lot more worth it than buying used. Given the age and mileage of the two vehicles you are considering and the market I am guessing the asking price is high compared to new or maybe even more than new. So yeah consider new too.
The Honda has 46k miles on it. One owner and very well maintained and taken care of. I like this one compared to new because it has all the features and things I want within my price range which is 25k. Both cars are the same price.
At around $25k you can get both new Accord and new Camry or even new Civic or Corolla. With new you are the owner from day one and take care of it and also get the factory warranty with the car. I just don't think features/options are worth going for used instead of new in this market. The base model of all 4 options I mentioned have very good convenience features.
Without a doubt, better built, does not have specific problems like the ‘17 Accord and is 3 years newer.
Have it inspected by a mechanic to make sure it’s in good shape. After you get it replace transmission and engine oil.
How much are these vehicles and where are you picking them up from? Toyota Camry SE is the better choice out of the two vehicles in terms of reliability. Honda Accord is also a decent vehicle and it's also an acceptable choice.
