Has anyone tried the Banks PedalMonster or any other throttle controller? Are they reliable or will they cause problems with a vehicle's computer and lead to expensive repairs?

yes they're stupid. All they provide is illusion and make it harder to troubleshoot problems. Don't monkey around with the design engineering.
Thanks MountainManJoe, I'm very wary of anything that could cause me reliability problems.
