I have an 08 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. The air bag light came on a month ago. I replaced the passenger side air bag indicator lamp which made no difference. When I start it and drive it the light blinks once, stops and then blinks eight times. It cycles through this one more time and then stays on. My cheapo Amazon scanner doesn't read any codes. Everything seems to be in order as far as seat belt function. This all started one night after a very heavy thunderstorm and windy night. Didn't know if something got wet but it's had plenty of time to dry out. Any ideas? Thanks!
