why did my dads air bag supention on his 07 avalanche go out, it rases up the truck when under load, and it went out, why

Well realize it's a 15-year-old Chevy product I'm amazed it lasted that long. Johnny the bags yet small holes in them and then they just leak out but you might want to check the pump sometimes the pumps break they can be tested
