Hi Scotty, You are the best? I had my 85k transmission replaced with a 108k ($275 used) transmission ($700 labor) but it's still doing the same thing. (I used a local shop not a specialist) It still won't switch gears properly and I can't accelerate above 20mph or about. I love this car and don't believe it's dead since it was working perfectly 2 months ago. Should I junk it? Or should I try replacing the automatic shift solenoids and the other pressure switches first? One shop is asking $2600 to rebuild it with 24K mile warranty. What should I do? Thanks (Arthur)

That's pretty low mileage for a Honda that age but they are very tricky transmissions to work on so what the heck why not try solenoids and see what happens first. But I would say see a specialist if I were you because sometimes it's the transmission control module gone bad since if both transmissions did the same thing it could be the transmission control module
