Hey Scotty, I've noticed each time I go based off the vehicle's specified psi for the tires, they wear out unevenly mainly because they recommend 60 PSI on the front tires and 80 PSI on the rear tires. Will averaging the PSI on all 4 tires affect the vehicle in a negative way?

How do you mean unevenly?

Are you rotating every 7,000 mi?

@mountainmanjoe
The treadwear is unevenly wearing out. The tires get rotated every oil change at approximately 5K miles.

again... unevenly how?  If you want help then you need to provide details please.

@mountainmanjoe
They are wearing out from the middle just like when tires are over inflated; these are the rear tires. The front tires wear out from the sides just like when tires are under inflated.

Thank you. And where did you get the 80 psi number?

By the way, I find that the front wheels always wear more on the sides. I think this is due to the front wheels being used to turn the vehicle and also a somewhat from driving style. This is why we rotate tires.
