Hey Scott I like your honesty, I'm moving to alaska next month and would like your opinion on a great vehicle to buy that will handle the weather in alaska. Subaru and or jeep or something in the Toyota family ?

Toyo hilux (for some reason I'm thinking these are available in Alaska...may be wrong), forerunner, Tacoma. Suby real good too for Alaska, Forester. A bit depends on it's use... but I'd go truck unless you needed to haul more than 2 people (comfortably, else SUV). And whatever you get, when ya get it, spray a couple extra inches of undercoat on (amount is an attempt at humorous exaggeration ; )
No on Jeep.
