I was shopping because the A/c evaporator on my V70 is leaking and it's an expensive fix. I came across an old 2000 Camry 6cly in excellent shape. I almost bought it but then I thought, why replace a 23 year old V70 with A/c problems with a 21 year old Camry. I had second thoughts and pulled out of the deal. I thought, the A/C and heater core on the Camry could go on and on forever or it could fail next week and I'd be in the same boat and $5K poorer. Since there was no way of guaranteeing these under dash parts on the camry, I decided against it.

ok, sure. would you recommend buying a 2000 Camry with only 105,000km on it ? It's in great shape. only reason I did not buy it is it's age and the fact an evaporator or heater core could need replacing some time soon due t it's age. I was shopping because my a/C evap died in my volvo.
