Hi scotty, my altima 2006 rattles in the engine area whenever i start the car...it goes once its started but during that 2 secs, it makes that sound, why is that?
Also vibration is there when i put it on drive and its just idling but once i accelerate or put in neutral, it becomes fine. Is it the engine or trans mount or spark plugs?

Your transmission mounts are probably shot if the transmission mounts are the original mounts. Once you shift into gear, it goes from basically neutral with a parking pawl to an actual gear, which strains the transmission mounts. Your torque converter could also be starting to wear out. You didn't mention your mileage.
Mileage is over 200k, but it mostly vibrate in the morning, when the weather is hotter. I can see the hood vibrating. When its night or colder, then the vibration is lesser.
How about the rattling issue?
Motor mounts could be worn out if they're the original motor mounts.
Yea it is original ones, i dont have to change spark plugs then right? I don't know if spark plugs were changed before. Because even the fuel mileage is also bad sometimes.
