Hi my Altinator drive belt squeaking after I tried to change the timing belt (I didn't) on my car (kia shuma simular to kia spectra but it's 1.5l 2000 year model) it's  squeaking hard  and the alternator pulley gets very  very hot I had another belt on my car it squeaked harder I would like to know what could be the problem I also put a new coolant but didn't remove the air out of the system because I couldn't run the car more than few seconds

Remove the belt and check the pulley to see if it moves freely or not. Do you have a manual tensioner for the belt?

The pulley moves freely, the tentioning mechanism is to push the alternator there is no tensioner if that's your question thanks

Is the belt too tight when you put it on?

maybe how do i know

You probably have manual tensioner. Try adjusting with it. If you don't have the tensioner, replace the belt.

I want to add one thing the noise gets worse when I spray water

At this point, just go to a mechanic.

You do not want to destroy the alternator or other parts.

sometimes you got to know when it’s time to quit and get help.

genuinely an important skill in life.

happened to me what I was failing to figure out how to adjust the manual tensioner on my Volvo, instead of risking causing thousands in damage I just went to friends with more experience.
