I'm thinking about selling my 2012 Mazda3i Touring 4dr sedan with 166k miles on it and purchasing a 2004-2010 Mercury Grand Marquis with roughly half of the miles mine has on it. There's nothing wrong with the Mazda 3, I'm just tired of the rough ride. I used to own a Grand Marquis and I miss the ridiculously smooth rode it offered and the big, comfy seats. Is this a good idea or am I about to make a terrible mistake?
Well no as you want a better ride. So yea, get rid of Mazda. However, there are much better choices than the Ford (Mercury).
@hillbilly
What did you have in mind?
Personally, I'd go with the large Lexus sedan.
If you want a smooth ride there isn't really anything better than those cruisers. The Mercury's have more electrical issues than the ford crown vics. Something to keep in mind. But I wouldn't regret either decision.
Those Ford Panther platform cars can run FOREVER.
I would rather have that than a Mazda any day.
