Choosing between Nissan Frontier or Toyota Tundra

Hello, Scotty! New to your forum however I have been your fan and watched your YouTube channel.

I am in a dilemma to buy and choose a pick up truck for me, both are in used or pre-owned conditions.

My best options are 2022 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV 4x4 Drive-train with 58,872 km and 2018 Toyota Tundra Double Cab SR5 Plus 4x4 Drive-train with 102,651 km. Those cars are from the same dealership that's one hour away to the city from where I reside.

Please answer this question. I heard Nissan trucks are very underrated but I haven't been on the radar to update myself with the automotive news lately. Thank you very much from Canada. God bless!

You didn't state the price but between the two I would go with a V8 Tundra (it's about 63k miles or so which isn't very high mileage for a Toyota if it's well maintained). As with any used car have a trusted independent mechanic check it for you.

Also, as a side note, buying used from a dealership will be more expensive than what you can find from a private seller. So if you have that option you might find something with lower mileage or newer from a private seller.

They are very different things.. The Frontier is a mid-size and the Tundra is a full-size. They have different purporses, sizes, fuel economy, and price.

So it really depends on your use case and what you exepect to get out of the truck!
