Hey Scotty,
Have been researching doing the drain and fill on these lifetime Toyota trannies. Two schools of thought out there: stick with Toyota OEM, or Toyota WS is trashed at 30K miles and we are much better off switching to Amsoil which is pure synthetic and holds up better. At the very least they say change Toyota WS every 30K.
What say you? PS-Howdy from Waco, Texas misses you!
Clarification: Which year, make, model, transmission?
2020 Camry 8 speed auto
Personally I'd stick to the Toyota original equipment fluid. Engineers design that stuff and some makes good oils but they don't make them for particular designs
Since this is a 2020 Toyota Camry with still unproven 8-speed automatic transmission (only been out on this new generation Camry since 2018 model year), I would stick with the original OEM fluid. Drain and fill the transmission fluid every 40,000 miles.
It's best to stick with Toyota WS.
