Scotty, I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71. It’s about to turn 100,000 miles. I bought it with 82,000 off my dad and he took excellent care of it. The truck still looks like it came off the showroom floor. However, since I own it now it sits outside for most of its life and I’m worried about it rusting. I live in eastern Ohio where salt in the winter time is a very common sight. Since I’ve owned the truck, I have had it undercoated with Fluid Film every 6 months to try and keep it from rusting. It only has a little bit of surface rust on the frame which I know is common and nothing to worry about. So my question is, in your opinion, am I doing enough to keep the truck from rusting or should I be doing more?

No that's perfectly fine just rinse the salt off it whenever it gets salt on it if you can
