I have a friend (a woman who's not into cars/doesn't take super good care of them) and she wants to buy a hyundai, 2015-2024 , but, her ''limit'' is about 16 000 eur. We were looking at the Kona, Tucson and Bayon. The Tucson's are a bit too big and expenisive, the Kona's are also on the more expensive side, SO only the Bayon seems to fit what she wats - a HIGH car aka SUV type, low cost aka cheap, and also has to look nice, she's 44 is that helps, manual or automatic, must be a petrol. She also does some HW driving, and some short trips.

So, I found one on sale (Bayon), but, it has a 1.0 or a 1.2 l engine with a turbo, and, my guess is, it has GDI, which I know, is normalny not good, due to carbon build up. She also sometimes does short trips, has a reeally bad maintencance score - she doesn't really look out for her car- and puts the raido on blast, to not hear the engine scream ''please fix me'' - she already has a 2010 hyundai i30 manual with a 1.4l engine, hence she still wants a hyundai, cuz hers has not yet died -. Any tips ? I still would prefer if she gets a toyota CHR, 1.2l turbo with a manual, they seem to go for bout 15 - 18k euro in europe here. But again, the turbo could be a problem, due to shorter trips sometimes. Any help/ advice would come in handy, thank you.
