Morning Scotty,
I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE 1.8L automatic transmission. When I take off slow from first to second gear the transmission shifts smooth. If I accelerate fast from start, the transmission shifts hard into second. Any suggestions?

The transmission could be wearing out. (You did not state mileage.) Has it been serviced regularly over the last 22 years?
