Hey Scotty, I live Glendale, AZ have never had a car, didnt get my license until I was 29, about to turn 30 in july. You said in a couple videos back now is not a time to be looking for a new or used car. I have finally saved up enough to finally get one, but the pandemic is still making people greedy. Where should I go if I really want to stop taking two buses to get to work, and finally get a car to get access to a better job, money, and etc?
If you have friends or family about to trade in or sell a car they might be inclined to give you a better deal than a stranger. Of course buying a car from people you know has its own perils in the event that despite everyone's best intentions there are problems with it.
Only some new cars are overpriced. But most used cars are overpriced.
It depends what you are looking at. SUV's and pick-up trucks are way up. Civic's and Corolla's not so much.
Be careful buying a late model used car, only to end up paying nearly as much as a brand new one.
Oh, and inflation is on the march. So these high prices may be here to stay.
there are still some fair deals but they sell quickly, narrow down to what you really want
i think that you can create an alert on craigslist to get notified when a specific car gets posted, but i have never done it
i just purchased a used corolla for a low price, but it needs work, time will tell if it was a fair deal
