Anyone have any thoughts on an 1992-1998 Oldsmobile 88 with the GM 3.8 as a winter beater knock/around car?

Very easy to repair and the 3800 engine is one or if not the best engine GM ever made. If the body is ok and it runs ok, buy it, just don’t overpay.

It can't be a great Knock-Knock car if it's still running okay and isn't rusted to pieces

Don't overpay would be my number one piece of advice. They aren't worth much of anything.
