I've got an XTool D8, but I don't really know how to use it AND interpret the data. I've searched youtube. Kinda need a tutorial I guess. I'm just a DIY, not advanced. I bought the thing because I could and thought that I'd be able to figure it out. Hah!
It depends on what you want to do with it. For any issue, do some research and watch some videos to find out which data you need to check and how to analyze them.
Hit the big red "Auto scan" button. If any trouble codes come up, look them up on obd-codes.com.
If it's all clear, then put the tool away and carry on driving.
