Always post your odometer please per the instructions.
Sounds rubbery. Try removing the serpentine belt and briefly run the engine to see if it sound goes away.
I hear a nasty rattle which could spell trouble, but hopefully it's just a loose pulley or something.

I see. Don't buy cars with noisy engines. If it was a cheap fix it would be done already and it wouldn't be for sale.
Problem is it's a Korean car and their engines are weak. The engine obviously has problems and you would have to tear it apart to see what exactly what went wrong. You might check to see if there's any warranty from recalls on that particular one. They have had to replace thousands of engines free but they're real stinkers about doing it
