I have a 2003 vw golf 2.0L manual transmission with what I believe is a bad starter because When I push the car and pop the clutch it starts up but you can’t start it with the key. I’m wondering if there is anyway to start it without pushing it every time and without replacing the starter.

You are doing it the old school classic way. Park on a hill facing down every night and your good to go!

You will need to unplug the clutch neutral switch on your clutch pedal and use a jumper wire across the terminals.
