im looking to buy a 2000-2006 Ford expedition and im wondering which engine choice is better, the 4.6 or the 5.4, and how many miles should I be looking at to make sure the car will last

I have a 2004 with the 5.4, about 135,000 miles, bought it used in 2009 with 66,000 miles. It has been almost trouble free, nothing major.

My guess is the 4.6 is MUCH better.
